Mediation

We have a qualified Mediator in house in both Scotland and England. Ewan Easton is a Partner in our Edinburgh office with over 25 years of experience of Dispute Resolution and was one of the first solicitors in Scotland to become prominent in the emerging field of Mediation. He regularly represents parties in Mediations but also takes appointments as a Mediator. Chris Woodruff is his counter part in our London office. Chris has been involved in Dispute Resolution work for over 30 years and also both represents clients at Mediations and accepts appointments as Mediator. All our fee earners receive Mediation training.

We do not believe in Mediation for the sake of it. Some cases are suitable for Mediation, others are not but once a case is identified as appropriate for Mediation, we will ensure that no stone is left unturned in identifying the best approach both legally and tactically with a view to achieving the best possible settlement for the client.
